The Corry High School Class of 1990 embraced a year filled with excitement, accomplishments, and lasting memories. With the fitting yearbook theme, "Can You Keep a Secret?" these seniors left their mark on the school in a way that would not soon be forgotten. From spirited competitions to international adventures, the class of ‘90 truly made their final year one for the history books.
One of the highlights of the year was the crowning of Annette Tubbs as Homecoming Queen. The annual Homecoming celebration brought students together in a flurry of school pride, culminating in a night of celebration and tradition. Speaking of school pride, the seniors proved their dominance by winning the coveted Spirit Flag, showcasing their energy and enthusiasm throughout the year.
Beyond school spirit, the Class of 1990 also demonstrated a strong sense of community service. Students participated in a canned food drive, ensuring that local families in need had access to essential supplies. In addition, the ever-popular cheese and sausage sale helped raise funds for various school activities, reinforcing the students’ commitment to both their school and the wider Corry community.
For the Spanish students, an unforgettable journey to Mexico expanded their cultural horizons, offering firsthand experiences in language and tradition. Meanwhile, back at Corry High, students and staff were met with a significant change—the school underwent an asbestos removal process, ensuring a safer learning environment for all.
The school year was also packed with fun and entertainment. A lively St. Patrick’s Day carnival brought students together for games, festivities, and good cheer, proving that the Class of 1990 knew how to celebrate in style. The year concluded with the much-anticipated Prom 1990, which was hailed as a resounding success, marking a perfect ending to a remarkable high school journey.
